Pervasive Complexity

Wired's Suneel Ratan is one of the few journalists thus far prepared to poke his fingers into Steve Johnson's Everything Bad is Good for You. While Ratan agrees that today's pop culture is more complex and probably also more clever, he questions whether this gives us any excuse to say that it's better for us.
