Nano-Brothers

In her Spiked column Jennie Bristow suggests that these days, if you are unlucky to become a victim of the men that prefer death to Pepsi-Cola, you are more likely to have people scrambling about your stricken body trying to photograph you with their mobiles than offering you first aid, the last rites or simply pinching your watch.

The new publication model is indiscriminate publication followed (hopefully) by filtration and aggregation - technology-enhanced crowd wisdom. The resulting disintermediation of professional creator-filterers is filling our public spaces with fanatical happy-snappy citizen reporters. We have all becoming walking cameras.
