This cute little snowman on Masthouse pier this morning betokens a modest overnight snowfall, that still somehow managed to shut several airports around the capital.In spite of the advance warning we had of this "severe weather" the ramps leading down to the piers along the Thames will only have been gritted in time for the evening rush-hour.
Soho Square was looking slippery around 11 o'clock this morning.
