Superbly disturbing oikophobic British horror movie in which a pair of fairly standard Claphamites head off to a flooded quarry for a romantic summer weekend, which duly degenerates the moment they find themselves chafing against the feral instincts of a pack of unhuggable hoodies.The influence of the rednecks in the woods horror genre from the States, where the kids are bad but the parents are worse, is plainly felt.
