One of the senior partners at the advertising agency I joined back in '91 was the first person of my acquaintance that made extensive use of the phrase in the title of this post. Here we are in 2005, and several of the BB housemates appear unable to start any sentence without adding this prefix. It's a pandemic.
So in a spirit of capitulation to the zeitgeist I shall see if it does indeed add a touch of terminality to my blog posts during the rest of the week.
