Contagion, end of

At the end of the day I'm not the only one to have taken note of the extraordinarily pestillent verbal meme which heads up this sentence. Indeed, at the end of the day, it's dog eat dog, end of, observed the cultural transmission expert that Channel 4 dredged up for their Big Brother catch-up show last night. There have been over 200 ends of the day on this year's show and every housemate has now said it at least once. This marks my final contribution to the spread of the virus.
