Stereotypes

The enduring (and unnerving) problem of stereotypes is the quantity of truth that they bear. 

For instance, perhaps the death rate in South Korea has been so low because too many were already existing in virtual self-isolation, or indeed so high in Italy because they’re all a bit too touchy-feely and grandpa and grandpa are usually ensconced in the family home.
