Friday 13th

It's almost as if the government here has learned absolutely nothing from 2020. 

This is one of those sequels where the original format is relentlessly re-trod without anything remotely resembling a new idea. 

Curfew after 10pm? That's going to achieve sweet Fanny Adams.




No wonder Dr G didn't appear to want to linger last night over that hospital beds graphic. With over 4000 new cases a day, even from a standing start, the current capacity would be over-subscribed in less than a week. 

And then there was that bloke amidst the posse at the back on the President's right. It was as if he'd been told 'Come dressed for Friday 13th, overall, mask...the works', and hadn't quite understood.
